FOA Supports Band Program with Purchase of New Sound System

The HRA Band Program is the proud owner of a brand new component sound system, purchased with generous funds donated by the Friends of the Arts. The new Onkyo receiver, Sony dual cassette tape deck, Sony CD player, and two Bose speakers replace the old “sound system” – a much weathered and dismally inadequate “boom box”. The new sound system is an excellent addition to the music educational resources available to students, allowing the clarity, excellent tone quality and dynamic scope of professional recordings to be heard and appreciated. Future uses may also include recording student rehearsals and performances for self-evaluation. Many thanks to Friends of the Arts for this valuable contribution to the music program!
