Your Tween/Teen Get Organized

For Tweens – Set up parameters:
Set times for homework & have a set place for homework to be done.
Help them get into the habit of writing lists.
Plan the next day& discuss it.
Encourage them to use their planner.
Check-in with your tween & ask about what assignments are due & when.

For Teens – Guide them through a process of questions:
“What’s coming up?”-Helps with initial planning.
“What do I have to do?” & “What do I need to do it?”-Helps with direction of project/assignment.
“When am I least/most productive?”-Helps identify times of low or high energy.
