Throughout its history HRA has benefited from the generosity of parents and other friends. In more recent times, alumni have joined the growing ranks of supporters, helping each year to provide the funds for a strong academic program provided by top notch faculty.
In addition to annual support, many have helped with the building of the school, most recently exemplified in the new upper school classroom wing, Ferguson Media center and student Commons.

As supporters seek ways of providing for the school's future, a growing number have joined the recently established Heritage Society by including HRA in their estate plans or have established special endowed funds to provide for increased financial aid and support for faculty.

All these gifts are critical to the Academy - each one helps ensure that current and future generations of students will continue to be challenged and inspired in the Virginia Peninsula's premier independent school.
