- Remember When? The HRA Athletic Department is in the process of gathering photos of HRA varsity teams and athletes from throughout the school’s history. The photos will become part of a digital library and will be used in a variety of ways, including our continuing efforts to enhance the wall spaces of the Spencer Gymnasium complex and lobby areas. We would especially appreciate team photos but can use good shots of HRA varsity athletes in action as well. Please either scan photos and send digitally to Karen Gillespie (kgille@hra.org), or send them to school care of either Max or Karen Gillespie, and we will scan them here. Including a self-addressed envelope will help us get your photos returned quickly.

- Naming of Svein J. Lassen Auditorium - The Hampton Roads Academy auditorium received a new name on Thursday, January 25, 2007. Thanks to a number of generous donors, the Board of Trustees authorized the naming of the auditorium in memory of former Board Chair and parent of two HRA grads, Svein J. Lassen.
