Parent to Parent 2000 is a unique program offered to HRA parents. The Parents Association supports it financially and administratively while coordinating the training aspects of the program with the Guidance Department.

Parent to Parent 2000 offers a unique approach in helping parents deal with the difficult issues of the new millenium. It is an interesting and dynamic video-based workshop designed to bring parents together for the purpose of helping their children through the challenging passage into adulthood.

Overview presentation:
There is a new and virulent Toxic Culture spreading throughout our nation's young. This culture has redefined fun for our children. In today's world, video games are aggressively violent, television shows and commercials bombard kids with sexual content, clothing catalogues and magazines glorify adolescent promiscuity while musical lyrics continue to mix violence, sex, vulgar language and disregard for character and integrity. Parent to Parent 2000 is designed to connect, network and empower good families together, helping them to guide thier children around the influences of today's Toxic Culture.

The workshops are offered as a 3 part series, 3 consecutive weeks and each of the sessions lasts approximately 2 ½ -3 hours.
