Students entering the eleventh grade are required to read three books.  All students must read

Of Mice and Men   and two other titles from the list below, or, the required selection, one title from below and one from a current list of best sellers.   (See the New Releases’ table at Barnes and Noble for ideas if needed.)  Check off the books you are ordering.  Please bring your required book to class on the first day of school.

This classic science fiction novel is set in a totalitarian state where books are burned.  The hero, a fireman who believes it is a “pleasure to burn,” enjoys his job until he meets a girl and a professor who inspires him to change the world.
