HRA student participated in National Robotics Week

HRA sixth grade student Addison-Parker Davis, a member of the Infamous Robotics LLC Robotics Inventors Club, kicked off National Robotics week at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
They presented alongside many University robotic competition teams including teams from Virginia Tech, University of Maryland and Cornell. Members of the Robotics Inventors Club presented A.N.A., their autonomous robot which is designed to protect health care professional from contagious diseases such as Ebola. A.N.A (Autonomous Nurses Assistant) was completely designed, built and programmed without the use of any kits by members of the Robotics Inventors Club ages 10-11. Addi and her team participated in a live streamed presentation and spoke with museum visitors during this event. The Inventors Club have also participated in “Shark Tank” -like tech events in D.C. most notably at AOL headquarters in Sterling, VA (they are the youngest group to ever do so), and will appear in the May issue of Nuts and Volts Magazine.
