- STUDENT WILL CREATE A 3-5 MINUTE PROCESS ANALYSIS ORAL PRESENTATION
- STUDENTS MAY WORK ALONE OR IN PAIRS (WITH MR. GEORGE'S APPROVAL). IF STUDENTS WORK IN PAIRS, THEN BOTH SHOULD PARTICIPATE EQUALLY!
- PRESENTATION IS ORAL, BUT MAY BE FILMED BEFOREHAND (CHECK WITH MR. GEORGE FOR FORMATS) OR DEMONSTRATED IN CLASS
- A SIGN-UP SHEET WILL BE POSTED ON MR. GEORGE'S BOARD FOR TIMES AND TOPICS.
- PRESENTATION MUST EXPLAIN THE FOLLOWING:
- HOW SOMETHING WORKS
- HOW SOMETHING IS MADE
- HOW SOMETHING IS DONE
- PROCESS MUST BE OF AN ADEQUATE LEVEL OF COMPLEXITY
- (I.E., NO PB&J'S, NO "HOW-TO-TIE-A-SHOE", NO "HOW-TO-RELAX", ETC.)
- PROCESS SHOULD BE COMPOSED OF AT LEAST 7-10 STEPS
- IN ADDITION TO THE ORAL PRESENTATION, A WRITTEN SUMMARY WILL BE COMPLETED AND TURNED IN TO MR. GEORGE
- IF A SOURCE IS USED, IT MUST BE CITED!
- A BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF THE PROCESS (WITH AN EXPLICIT THESIS) FOLLOWED BY NUMBERED STEPS IS FINE.
