DRESS CODE
At Hampton Roads Academy, we believe that adhering to the dress code is an essential aspect of maintaining a respectful and professional learning environment for all members of our community. Our dress code reflects our commitment to upholding high standards of appearance, conduct, and personal responsibility.
By following the dress code guidelines, students demonstrate their respect for themselves, their peers, and the HRA community as a whole. Dressing appropriately contributes to a positive atmosphere conducive to learning, fostering a sense of unity and pride among students.
We encourage all students to familiarize themselves with the dress code and to take pride in their appearance as representatives of HRA. Please find more information about your child’s dress code below.

HONOR CODE
The Honor Code serves as the bedrock of integrity and character at Hampton Roads Academy, fostering a culture of trust, responsibility, and respect in our community. Upholding the principles of honesty, fairness, and ethical behavior is paramount in cultivating an environment where learning flourishes and individuals thrive. Through the Honor Code, HRA instills values that extend far beyond the classroom, empowering students to become principled leaders and compassionate global citizens prepared to make positive contributions to society. Transportation
There is bus transportation available for a nominal fee to students living in Smithfield, Suffolk, Yorktown, Gloucester, and Williamsburg. Please contact the Office of Admissions for more information.
