HRA/Foxtail Farm IEA team wins National Championship

The HRA/Foxtail Farm Equestrian team won the 2019 Interscholastic Equestrian Association National Championship! The HRA/Foxtail Farm team consisted of five riders, including HRA sophomore Alexandra Gendreau, selected from a total of 30 riders on the team. Alexandra earned 2nd place in the JV Novice over fences and flat classes in her division and contributed 10 points to the team’s 23 points.
The Interscholastic Equestrian Association consists of 11 zones across the United States with more than 12,000 riders from over 1,000 teams. Only 18 teams qualified for the National competition and HRA/Foxtail Farm was one of the qualifiers. To qualify individuals and team participate in multiple competitions during the regular season, regional finals and zones finals. At the National competition riders draw horses they have never ridden before and enter the arena after a brief warm up! Alexandra is very proud of representing HRA as part of the team!
