HRA Junior presents work done though HRA’s CNU Research Fellows Program

As one of HRA’s CNU Research Fellows, Junior Alex Gendreau did research last summer in molecular cell biology with CNU faculty member Dr. David Knight and CNU Summer Scholar Susannah Garber.
Their project was developing techniques for researching gender-based brain differences in drug addiction and relapse. Alex was recognized as second author on the project! Here, Alex is seen presenting her work at the 2019 Fall Undergraduate Meeting sponsored by the Virginia Academy of Science.  For more information on how your student can participate in outside internship and research opportunities, click here or please contact Karen Gillespie at kgille@hra.org or 884-9385 or Ben Rous at brous@hra.org or 884-9389.
