HRA's National Art Honor Society inducted New Members

Hampton Roads Academy's National Art Honor Society inducted new members on Wednesday, April 21st. The National Art Honor Society chapter 1425 of Hampton Roads Academy invites artists, sophomores through seniors, based on a variety of criteria.  Students must demonstrate an outstanding ability and have an enthusiastic interest in art.  Prior to invitation, students must have completed a minimum of three art classes, earning an 90% or above in all three.  They must be citizens of sound character and provide service through art to HRA and their communities.
In addition to the attendance of monthly meetings, members of the NAHS complete a number of art-related service hours each year.

Over the years artists have provided: activities for Fall Festival, displays of Upper School art at local community festivals, illustrations of Memory Portraits for needy children that have reached 11 different countries around the world, sponsored an Upper School Juried art show, painted murals and the list goes on.
Currently the membership is 30 members strong.  HRA's NAHS anticipates resuming a variety of club activities in the coming 2021/22 school year.

Congratulations to the twelve newest members and newly elected officers!
