2018 HRA Golf Classic

The weather was picture perfect and the golfers enjoyed playing on the beautiful golf course. The tournament brought together current HRA parents, HRA alumni and several businesses who all helped to support and enhance the Academy's athletic program through their participation. Proceeds exceeded $31,000 and will go toward the purchase of additional outdoor seating on the HRA athletic fields. A special thank you goes to our Sponsors and Donors who made it possible.

The competition was tough, but three teams took the top spots:

First place: 
The Lockwood’s Carpets Team with Lee Lockwood, Jim Lockwood, Scott Glaze and Daniel Soehren.

Second Place:
The Patten, Wornom, Hatten & Diamonstein Team with Donald Patten, Alex Coletrane, Jason Messersmith and Jennifer Stevens ‘85.

Third Place: 
The Johns Brothers Security Team with Skeeter Heath, Woody Parsons, Aaron Stacey and Mike Leach.

The Proximity Winner for Closest to the Pin was Lee Lockwood, with a Hole in One!

Many thanks go to the Navigator Club parent volunteers, especially Tournament Chair Tasha Young Rose ‘98 and Navigator Club President Shawen Kane Bartol ‘85. The volunteers included Kathleen Mauk, Darla Revere, Ginger James, Heather Short, Christy Tankersley and Kendra Wood.
