ADMISSION

International Program

Hampton Roads Academy has a long tradition of welcoming students to the Upper School grades from around the world. Our international students enrich both the educational and cultural experiences of our student body and offer us all a stronger understanding of our global community. The Hampton Roads Academy Upper School is a student body of around 250. We do limit the number of students from any one country to ensure that all international students have a true American residential experience.

HRA offers the following benefits to its International students:
  • English support courses including College English and Writing

  • College Counseling and a 100% success rate in US College / University matriculation for International graduates

  • Test-prep: TOEFL, SAT, ACT, and HRA is a test site for all of these tests

  • Apartment-style living with faculty supervision and academic support
We welcome inquiries about our Upper School International Residency Program from all countries and nationalities.
