Speaker Series for HRA Parents - I Was So Clueless: Drug Addiction & What Parents Need to Know

Join HRA’s Guidance Department on Monday, March 18, at 6 p.m. for an important event about drug addiction. We’ll watch scenes from the film Beautiful Boy¸ which realistically depicts the impact of adolescent drug addiction on an upper class family.

An interactive discussion will follow with local professionals who deal directly with addictions and its consequences. They will address the growing opioid epidemic in Hampton Roads and will provide education for how you can talk to your children about this health risk.

Due to the mature content of the film and the discussion, this event is intended for parents.
