HRA Girls Soccer Team kicked off their season at a meaningful tournament

HRA’s varsity girls soccer team kicked off their season with a win against Hampton High School at The Christine Garvey Memorial Soccer Tournament last week.
The tournament, in its 20th year, is played in memory of HRA’s Middle and Upper School teacher and Director of Theatre Kate Goddin’s late mother.  The tournament hosts 32 high school soccer teams in three days of competition and raised more than $13,000 this year in the fight against cancer. The proceeds benefit two local charities; Beyond Boobs (which provides support and services for young women fighting breast cancer) and Edmarc (which provides support and services for families who have a child suffering from a long term or terminal illness).
