HRA’s William Revere commits to play lacrosse for Roanoke College

Hampton Roads Academy senior William Revere recently made his commitment to play lacrosse for Roanoke College.
Revere, a starter at midfield, has been a valuable contributor to the Hampton Roads Academy Varsity Boys Lacrosse team for the past three seasons. Revere’s prolific statistical contributions included 48 goals, 13 assists, 126 ground balls, and 16 takeaways. These accomplishments earned him the MVP award, two-time First Team All-State, and two-time First Team All-Conference.

"William Revere is a remarkable young man on and off the lacrosse field,” said Roland Richardson, Hampton Roads Academy Head Lacrosse Coach. “He is a true student athlete. William leads by example through his hard work in the classroom as well as on the lacrosse team. It has been a true honor and privilege to coach him. HRA will be losing a valuable member of our community but Roanoke College will reap the benefits of all his hard work here at HRA. I look forward to William's success as he takes the next step in his life. William has a bright future ahead of him and I wish him all the best."
