HRA Latin Students place third at state convention

For two days, students from across the state met for the promotion of and a greater appreciation for Greek and Roman culture, tradition, language, and literature. Events included lectures, re-enactments and a variety of contests and written tests. Students also had the opportunity to compete in several arts and crafts competitions. In addition to over 25 individual awards won by participating students, HRA’s Street Certamen team placed third in a pool of 24 public and private schools from across Virginia.
