HRA students place in recent Certamen
On Saturday, January 12, a group of Latin students made the trip to Northern Virginia to participate in the 2019 Flint Hill Certamen. HRA brought both novice amateur and advanced amateur teams.
Both teams scored in all three of their initial rounds and the advanced amateur team scored high enough to advance to the final round, where they earned 3rd place and a Chick-fil-a gift card. It was both an educational and enjoyable experience for our students as well as the other 65 teams from 23 schools throughout the Washington DC metro area, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and Maryland.
