We are grateful for and depend upon the generosity of our alumni, parents and friends who share a dedication to this remarkable place. We strive daily to preserve Hampton Roads Academy’s history and traditions while at the same time moving our school forward into our next half century. We are mindful that our Navigators stand on the shoulders of all those who have come before us.
As an independent school, Hampton Roads Academy relies on a tradition of giving to help us fulfill our mission of preparing students for their bright futures, to support the operation budget and to fund campus and program improvements. While tuition provides a significant portion of the income required for an HRA education, HRA relies on non-tuition revenue to balance the operational budget. Through donations to HRA, programs are strengthened and faculty are provided with the tools necessary to offer our students a top-notch education, inside and outside the classroom.Philanthropic gifts in these primary areas will make the greatest difference:

Hampton Roads Academy’s Office of Advancement is responsible for raising philanthropic support for the school through annual and capital campaigns and special events. The Advancement Office also recruits volunteers to assist with events and campaigns, manages marketing for the school to both the HRA community and the local community and through the media and our publications.
We invite you to get involved and invest your time, talent and treasure in HRA to support our students. Your commitment at any level helps to make a difference in the lives of our Navigators.
Hampton Roads Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
