    HRA is located in the heart of Newport News, Virginia, just seconds off of Interstate 64 and minutes away from the Jefferson Avenue and Oyster Point Boulevard intersection (on the Newport News border) and the J. Clyde Morris Boulevard (Route 17) and Victory Boulevard intersection (on the York County border), making it easily accessible to families living throughout the Peninsula (Newport News, Poquoson and Hampton), the Middle Peninsula (Gloucester and Mathews Counties), Southside (Suffolk, Smithfield, Norfolk, Portsmouth) and the greater Williamsburg region (including James City and York Counties).

    Walk throughout the HRA campus and you can see and feel the culture of technology at all grade levels, with teachers constantly looking to create a 21st century learning environment for students to navigate a 21st century life.

    In addition to the 230 computer stations available throughout the school, including a Mac lab, students have access to charging stations located throughout the halls, printer stations, interactive boards and iPads (HRA is part of the 1 for 1 promise to have a tablet for every one student).
